Consumption recommendation

The protein intake depends on your personal (sporting) goal, 1-3 portions daily:

  • In the morning, for the fastest possible supply of nutrients
  • Directly after strength training, to support regeneration and muscle building
  • Before endurance training, increases the availability of amino acids
Preparation

Preparation as a shake

Add 30 g (approx. 3 tablespoons) of protein powder to 300 ml of milk, plant-based drink or water and mix with a shaker or blender. Pour in the liquid first, then the protein.

Possible applications

The classic shake is an efficient source of protein, but it is not the only way to get protein from food. Protein powder is also ideal as an addition to smoothies, bowls, porridges or yogurt. It is also ideal for baking and for effectively increasing the protein content of dishes.

What is goat's milk protein?

Goat's milk protein is a high-quality protein obtained from goat's milk. It contains all nine essential amino acids and is considered an easily digestible alternative to cow's milk protein.

Where does the goat's milk come from

The goats for our goat whey protein are mainly used in alpine farming in Austria.

Why is goat's milk protein not available in organic quality?

Although there is a strong organic farming sector in Austria, certified organic goat's milk remains a niche product. This is due to several factors that present real hurdles for farmers. Many goat farmers in Austria run their farms as a sideline or on a small scale. Organic certification entails additional bureaucratic and organizational effort, which is often not profitable for small farms. The demand for organic goat's milk is relatively low - many consumers prefer organic cow's milk or plant-based alternatives. As a result:- Sales markets are limited- Processing chains are weak (e.g. few dairies that process organic goat's milk separately)- Price pressure is high, but the added value is difficult to enforce on the market. A large proportion of goat's milk goes into artisanal cheese production, often on small organic farms. Although these farms are committed to organic principles, they sometimes forgo official organic certification because they sell directly to customers and build trust through regionality and transparency.

Who is AlpenPower goat's milk protein suitable for?

For anyone looking for a natural, well-tolerated protein - ideal for athletes, people with sensitive stomachs or a slight lactose intolerance.

What is the difference between goat's milk protein and goat's whey protein?

Goat's milk protein is the complete milk protein with around 80 % casein and 20 % whey, while goat's whey protein is obtained exclusively from the whey part of milk and is more easily digested.

Goat's milk protein provides a slower, steady supply of protein, while whey made from goat's milk is more suitable for rapid recovery directly after training.

Is goat's milk protein lactose-free?

No, but it is low in lactose. Many people with lactose intolerance tolerate goat's milk better than cow's milk. In the case of severe intolerance, we recommend consulting a doctor.

What does goat's milk protein taste like?

It has a pleasant, slightly milky taste - without the typical "goat smell". The goat taste is only minimally perceptible.

Goat's milk protein cocoa

We drink 1-2 shakes a day with the goat protein and really like it! It tastes like cocoa milk, is very well tolerated and doesn't cause pimples or bloating. In terms of consistency, we prefer the cocoa version to the vanilla version, as it is very powdery and spreads everywhere. We prefer to mix it with an almond-coconut drink or pure coconut drink, it tastes best that way, really delicious!

Goat's milk protein - vanilla

I simply tolerate the goat's milk whey better. I find it even better that there are no sweeteners or other nonsense in the product.
it tastes very good to me, it doesn't smell unpleasant like the competition, it dissolves really well and is also ideal for baking
I am so convinced of the quality that I will only buy my products here in the store!

Goat's milk protein - Neutral

Very good taste, dissolves perfectly in water. It also mixes well in yoghurt.
Also important for me: it is not sweetened and therefore completely neutral. It tastes like goat's milk (if you don't like goat's milk, you won't like the protein powder either).
