It tastes good, has a nice texture, and it doesn't feel like I'm drinking a typical, conventional energy gel... and it's organic, too.
I play beach volleyball professionally and always carry a gel with me for every match, because it’s especially important on hot summer days to have enough sugar in your system—which your body then converts into energy, allowing you to perform at your best.
It delivers a quick, solid energy boost. As expected, it’s pretty sweet, but it doesn’t have that synthetic taste you get from artificial flavors. I tolerated it well because it doesn’t contain any acidulants. The packet is easy to open, but you can’t empty it completely while on the go. That said, the competition doesn’t do any better in that regard either.

A very easily digestible energy gel
I take the gel during my training runs that last longer than 70–80 minutes—which often take place before breakfast—and right before the start of running races (10K, 10 miles). I can tolerate it just fine without drinking water, even though that’s recommended and the carbohydrate absorption would certainly be even better (but I don’t like carrying water with me on my long runs). Because of the high carbohydrate concentration, you only need to take a small amount to get enough carbs, which I find very convenient (very compact). You feel a noticeable boost a few minutes after taking it. Highly recommended.

I have a very high fructose intolerance and have tried a lot of different gels over the past few years. On long bike rides, I would often skip eating to avoid stomachaches or even worse—people with fructose intolerance know exactly what I’m talking about! Although this bar contains fructose due to the agave syrup, the ratio to glucose is obviously perfect, and I can consume this gel without any problems—even on an empty stomach! This gel is an absolute game-changer for me! Please keep producing it with exactly this formula! Thank you very much!

A 25-km run without stomach problems
I’ve now run several marathons and ultramarathons using the vegan “BIO Energy Gel” and have never had any issues with tolerating it. As for the flavor, I recommend the “Lemon” variety.
