Consumption recommendation

The protein intake depends on your personal (sporting) goal, 1-3 portions daily:

In the morning, for the fastest possible supply of nutrients
Directly after strength training, to support regeneration and muscle building
Before endurance training, increases the availability of amino acids

Preparation

Mix one sachet with 400 ml of water in a shaker and wait until the foam has dissolved. You can also pour the Clear Whey into a glass. For an absolutely fresh kick, place the shaker directly in the fridge for 20 minutes. Attention: Increased pressure due to shaking is possible.

AlpenPower Clear Whey Isolate - refreshment meets protein power

AlpenPower Clear Whey Isolate is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to meet their protein requirements - without the heavy, creamy taste of conventional shakes. This high-quality whey protein isolate impresses with its soft drink-like texture, clear appearance and fruity taste - perfect for hot days, intensive training sessions or simply as a refreshing protein boost between meals. Made from high-quality whey protein isolate, each portion provides plenty of protein with particularly fast absorption and high bioavailability - exactly when your body needs it most: after training, for regeneration and to build muscle. Clear Whey is therefore the innovative, light alternative that perfectly combines functionality and drinking pleasure.

Why whey protein is the ideal source of protein

Whey protein - also known as whey protein - is one of the highest quality sources of protein. It has a very high biological value (104-107), which means that the body can absorb it particularly efficiently and use it directly to build and maintain muscle mass. Whey protein is particularly ideal after training, as it is digested quickly and provides the body with essential amino acids quickly - exactly when the muscles need them most. Our whey isolate is the refined, purest form of whey protein - with a higher protein content, less lactose, hardly any fat and sugar and even faster availability in the body than conventional whey concentrate. The complex Cross Flow Microfiltration (CFM ) process preserves important microfractions while filtering out unwanted by-products. The result: a particularly well-tolerated, highly effective protein that helps you to accelerate your muscle regeneration and optimally support muscle building - without any compromises.

The advantages of Clear Whey Isolate at a glance

✅ Very high protein content: With approx. 85% protein, whey isolate provides a particularly concentrated portion of protein - ideal for muscle building and maintenance, as well as diets and high-protein diets.
✅ Soft drink-like consistency: No creamy milk base, but clear, light and refreshing - like a fruit juice or sports drink.
✅ Low in lactose and well tolerated: thanks to the complex filtration process, whey isolate contains only minimal amounts of lactose, fat and carbohydrates - perfect for those with sensitive digestion.
✅ High biological value: Provides all essential amino acids in an ideal ratio - for maximum effectiveness.
✅ No anti-foaming agents: We deliberately avoid artificial foam reducers - for a natural, clean product.
✅ With stevia instead of artificial sweeteners: Sweetened with steviol glycosides from the stevia plant - free from sucralose, aspartame or other artificial sweeteners

Clear whey isolate made from high-quality Alpine milk

The milk for our whey protein isolate comes from grazing cows in the Alpine region, where the cows are kept on species-appropriate pastures and mainly eat pasture grass and hay.
Thanks to direct extraction from milk and gentle processing using Cross Flow Microfiltration (CFM), a particularly pure, high-quality protein powder is produced - free from unnecessary additives and residues. The result: a whey isolate that meets the highest standards of functionality, taste and digestibility.

Personally, I didn't like the lemon flavor that much, but 🍒 was all the better for it. For newbies like me, it was important to let the product sit for five minutes after shaking it.

Both this peach-flavored tea and the cherry-flavored one are delicious... I enjoy drinking them with water... I'm very pleased because the ingredients are clean—they only use stevia. And since I have hypothyroidism, I'm really glad they didn't include soy lecithin...

10/10—highly recommended, great taste!

Great taste! I was looking for a clear whey that tastes like a regular clear whey but uses milk from pasture-raised cows. I've found it here!
It's also great that you can try all the products before ordering a larger quantity :)

Raspberry

Very good

The flavor is relatively subtle, and the drink is generally pleasantly (slightly) sweet! It's a good product, but I wish the flavor were a little more intense.

Wonderful Isolates

I’ve tried my way through all the whey isolate products. My favorites are cherry, iced tea, raspberry, neutral,
cocoa, and pistachio. But that’s purely subjective. All in all: the powders dissolve well, and what really wins me over,
is the fact that they don’t use artificial flavors or add unnecessary sugar!
Of course, this means the products aren’t as sweet as others on the market, but that’s exactly what I like about them!
Another reason I chose Alpenpower products was—and still is—the really wide selection of flavors for the isolates, as well as the use of regional ingredients! The company comes across as transparent to me when it comes to ingredients, so I feel great when I drink my protein shakes!
Thank you all!

Unfortunately, I haven't tried them all yet. Lemon, peach/iced tea, and raspberry taste great. They don't taste artificial, and that's important to me.

The taste is good overall, but for me personally, the aftertaste is too milky.
It dissolves really well, and the foam goes away after a few minutes.
It's great that there are so many sample sizes.

Frequently asked questions

What is Clear Whey Isolate anyway?

Clear Whey Isolate is a particularly high-purity whey protein that is characterized by a clear, soft drink-like texture compared to conventional protein shakes. It tastes fruity and light instead of creamy, making it a refreshing alternative - especially after training or on hot days.

What is the difference to normal whey protein?

While classic whey protein often has a milky, creamy consistency, Clear Whey has a clear, light and juicy taste. It contains even less fat, sugar and lactose than conventional whey concentrate or isolate - with a very high protein content and optimum tolerability.

Is Clear Whey Isolate lactose-free?

Clear Whey Isolate is low in lactose and is generally well tolerated by people with mild lactose intolerance. However, in the case of severe intolerance, we recommend trying this out individually or consulting a doctor.

Why and with what is AlpenPower Clear Whey sweetened?

Clear Whey has a bitter taste of its own, which is why a sweetener is absolutely essential. We rely on natural sweeteners such as stevia and consistently avoid artificial sweeteners such as sucralose or aspartame. This ensures a pleasantly fresh taste without any artificial aftertaste.

Why does the Clear Whey foam so much during preparation?

We are one of the few manufacturers to completely dispense with artificial anti-foam agents. We asked our community about this and over 98% of them were against using an anti-foamer. After shaking the drink in a shaker, wait a few minutes until the foam has disappeared. For an absolutely fresh kick, put the shaker straight into the fridge for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can stir the powder directly into the water without shaking. Here is a preparation video

How and when should I drink Clear Whey?

Best enjoyed directly after training to promote muscle building. However, you can also enjoy it between meals or as a protein-rich refreshment. Simply mix with cold water and drink ice cold!

Who is Clear Whey Isolate suitable for?

Whey protein isolate is ideal for anyone who wants to provide their body with a targeted supply of high-quality protein - whether they are strength athletes, endurance athletes, fitness beginners or people with increased protein requirements (e.g. during diet phases or in old age).
