This is my first time trying casein, and I have to say, I really like the taste even on its own. Casein does have a distinct flavor, but I like it. I also mix up a drink in the evening with cocoa and water, or sometimes with coconut milk. I use just a tiny bit of agave syrup to sweeten it. I hope this will help me prevent muscle loss. At 63, exercise is essential, but it’s not as easy as it used to be 😉 ...
It dissolves really well in the shaker, and I personally warm everything up before putting it in the shaker—especially in the evening, it’s just more pleasant that way, and I think it tastes even better.
