Why combine vitamin D3 with K2?

Vitamin D3 increases calcium absorption in the body - vitamin K2 ensures that this calcium is stored in bones and teeth instead of being deposited in blood vessels or soft tissue. The combination thus protects bones and the cardiovascular system in equal measure.

Can I take vitamin D3+K2 drops permanently?

Yes, long-term supplementation is safe and sensible for healthy adults - especially in the months with little sunshine or in the case of a proven vitamin D deficiency. However, if you are taking anticoagulants, supplementation with vitamin K2 should be clarified by a doctor.

Is the product vegan?

No. The vitamin D3 it contains comes from lanolin, which is extracted from sheep's wool. It is therefore not a vegan product. Vitamin K2, on the other hand, is microbially fermented and is of plant origin.
